viṣṇu sahasranāmam (old)

We, the devotees of Sri Datta Sai Mandir, have made a commitment (sankalpa) to chant viṣṇu sahasranāmam every evening at 7:30 p.m. for 41 days, starting on April 17. Chanting viṣṇu sahasranāmam (1008 names of Lord viṣṇu) is believed to bring special benefits, which include increased focus, reduced stress and a deeper connection to one’s spirituality.

Chanting viṣṇu sahasranāmam during this auspicious 41-day period (April 17 through May 28) period can significantly augment the above benefits. Anyone can join this chanting, which will occur in the main prayer hall.

More importantly, this group (samūhika) chanting is for realizing spiritual success and peace of mind. So, the more people who join this effort every day during this period, the more powerful our prayer will be, which could significantly increase the chances of our success.
