What: samūhika (group) satyanārāyaṇa pūjā

This month, satyanārāyaṇa pūjā is more special. It is part of the guru pūrṇimā celebrations. Please make every effort to participate in this and reap the benefits.

This is a simple pūjā for Lord nārāyaṇa that can be performed by anyone with guidance from the priest. This pūjā can help in alleviating ones sufferings and fulfill ones desires. Especially, in this kali yuga, this pūjā brings contentment. It takes less than an hour to perform this pūjā.

On every pūrṇimā (full moon day), priests at the temple will facilitate this pūjā for several devotees’ families as a group (samūhika) in one session. Each family will be provided one set of pūjā items. Devotees can bring a small amount of flowers and fruits for their individual pūjā.
