What: śānti abhiṣēka, pūjā and homa for Jupiter, rāhu and ketu
When: Sunday, May 18 at 5 p.m.
On Thursday, May 15, Jupiter (guru) one of the two significantly influential planets (grahās) has transited into mithuna rāśī. On Sunday, May 18, rāhu is transiting into kumbha rāśī and ketu is transiting into simha rāśī. These transits can affect people whose birth star (nakṣatra) is in the following rāśīs: makara, kumbha, mīna, mithuna, kaṭaka, simha, kanya and vṛścika.
If your rāśī is one of the above, you may consider participating in the graha śāntī event at our temple on Sunday, May 18, at 5 p.m. abhiṣēka, pūjā and hōma will be performed to invoke the blessings of these three planets (grahās) to alleviate any negative effects of these transits, and to promote harmony, prosperity and well-being.
