The planets in our solar system transit through the twelve zodiacs (rāśīs) at various speeds. Depending on these transits people in different rāśīs can be affected or afflicted. Also, lunar and solar eclipses may have an effect of people of certain rāśīs. This depends on the position of the moon and/or the sun during these eclipses.

Priests in our temple will perform special customized pūjās and hōmas for each of these astrological events.
