ekādaśa vara rudrābhiṣēkam means performing abhiṣēkam eleven (11) times for the main linga on the stage, while namakam is being chanted. rudram consists of two parts – namakam (invoking the powers of śiva) and camakam (seeking śivā’s blessings). The entire namakam is chanted once, followed by one anuvākam of the camakam. There are eleven anuvākams in the camakam. So, at the end of the ekādaśa rudrābhiṣēkam, the entire namakam will be chanted eleven times and all anuvākams of the camakam will be chanted once.
365 sphaṭika lingams are arranged as kailāśa yantra. There are eleven āvaraṇās in this yantra. While the priests are performing abhiṣēkam for the main linga, devotees can perform abhiṣēkam for these sphatika lingams. One avarana of the yantra is worshipped during each abhiṣēkam of the main lingam.
